EuroVelo 8 runs through Medići, halfway between Split and Makarska. After a 60 or 80 km ride, you're ten metres from the sea here, with a place to wash the bike and yourself before dinner.

EuroVelo 8 through Medići
The route runs along the coast, with a sea view for most of the way. The stretch through the Omiš Riviera connects south towards Makarska and north towards Split.
Medići sits halfway along that connection, so it makes no difference whether you're riding from Split heading south or from Makarska heading north — either leg can naturally break here. Direct sea access means you can take off your gear and get into the water without an extra walk or a road to cross.
