Villa Carica is a family house that learned to host guests over time. Seven apartments across four floors, each with a sea view, and a beach that starts where the garden ends. What was once a family house by the sea is now a place Booking has rated 9.7.
A hospitality philosophy
Petra believes a good stay isn't measured by how many amenities are on a list, but by how quickly a guest feels like they've already been here. That's why there's WhatsApp instead of a faceless booking system, and why breakfast comes from local producers Petra knows personally.
She doesn't do it alone
The whole family helps out at Villa Carica — there's no staff working shifts. Guests often mention Petra's young son in their reviews too: a small detail that says more about the atmosphere than any list of amenities.
Why we run breakfast and tastings
We added breakfast and wine and olive oil tastings because we noticed the same thing with every guest: the best part of the day wasn't on the beach, but at the table afterwards.
